Present Tense - One Person

Present tense verbs are preceded by either yer or ter.

After the verb there is a word which depends on who you are talking to or about.

The table below shows the word endings and the word after the verb.

To make a sentence, begin with either "yer" or "ter", then pick and ending (from the Doer" column) and a word from the "Done to" column.

Examples:
I am helping = yehegeze alehoo
She is helping them (women) = yehegez ala


































Present Tense -Two Person

Present tense verbs are preceded by either yer or ter.

After the verb there are two parts which depends on which person is doing action the "Doer" and a word that depends on the person the action is "done to".

The table below shows the word endings and the word after the verb.

You (She) ki alekhee
You (Men) koom alekhoom
You (Women) ken alekhen
He oh alo
She ah ala
They (Men) om alo-oh
They (Women) en alo-ah


To make a sentence, begin with either "yer" or "ter", then pick and ending (from the Doer" column) and a word from the "Done to" column.

Examples:
I am helping = yehegezeka alehoo
She is helping them (women) = yehegezen ala

Many verbs involve doing something for someone rather than to someone like "write for". In this case add the sound "el" between the endings

Examples:
I am helping = yehegezeelka alehoo
She is helping them (women) = yehegezelen ala
